The best overhear that I have heard of and the most wrong (and probably apocyphal) was during the "Diary of Anne Frank" revival with Natalie Portman.
One first row theater goer was so displeased with Ms. Portman's performance that when the Nazis arrived in the final act he whispered loudly to them: "She's hiding in the attic!" |
