In terms of the number of principal vocalists who can be named, the limit and criteria have fluctuated significantly in recent years. I believe there were 10 named principal vocalists for Hamilton, and every cast member for Dear Evan Hansen was a principal vocalist. I believe the maximum number currently is four, which is why there's no principal vocalist for Six and why Into the Woods and Caroline or Change both only have four cast members listed.
