Your reply raises another question. Do you need a "lifetime passion" to be drawn to the Museum of Broadway? Much of what I saw is basic stuff, old hat for regular theatergoers. (This is why I focused on the tidbits that were new to me.) It wouldn't surprise me if the primary audiences the founders are aiming for are younger people and tourists.
(And if I"m right about young people, surely there will be school groups attending at a considerably lower ticket price, if not for free.)
