I wish I liked that Sea Gull more. A noble venture with very mixed results. Fairly humorless, with Simone Signoret seeming more uncomfortable speaking in English than I can recall her seeming in any other movie, and James Mason 20-25 years old for the role (but we see that role cast too old so often). But certainly worth a watch, perhaps especially for Redgrave. Other people are well cast, but somehow it doesn't quite happen.
