If I go to a movie once a year and don't care about the history of movies, I'd likely skip a movie museum, more so if the ticket price is $52.
Oh, I dunno. If I only go to a movie once a year but I feel nostalgic about the ones I enjoyed growing up, I might go to a museum about them. Broadway shows do get exposure beyond visits to midtown Manhattan, after all, as plenty of people will have seen touring productions, or participated in a local or school production, or seen a film based on a Broadway show. And while $52 seems steep, the thing is new and discounts may well become available in due course. I've got no burning desire to go at present, but I won't swear that I'll never do so. |
