It’s intermission at Phantom and Crawford is absolutely killing it. The show itself, while still wildly nonsensical, is in tip top shape. The vocals are soaring. The whole thing is as fresh as it gets.
But Crawford (maybe it’s the name?) is leaving absolutely nothing left. It is one of the most exciting performances I’ve seen in years. If you can get a ticket to see him, don’t miss it. He is — pardon me — fucking amazing: over the top, scenery chewing (as it were) and completely compelling and believable.
