I give you a lot of credit for reading the script! Sorry you will miss some very good acting!
A friend ( a Tony voter ) and her husband was upset at the 2nd Act crime in "Kimberly Akimbo"... it took them months get their $ and credit rating back!

Oh, gosh! I bet that was hell for them.

Yeah, I thought reading it would be easier for me. I read a lot of plays - sometimes several a day. It's a joy of mine. I found it difficult, and had to stop a few times, but I will agree - it is a powerful play.

It isn't lost on me that some on the sex offender registry have truly suffered, and that sometimes the punishment is extreme. But some of the characters were certainly difficult for me to feel anything for.

To be honest, I'd really like to see it performed. I actually think staring it in the face would be good for me. But I just can't afford a ticket. It's been a really hard time for me and I've been missing most theatre, sadly.

Bruce Norris is a terrific writer. I personally loved his play Domesticated at Lincoln Center, and didn't get the hate for it, or why it was never published.
