| I absolutely hated it. The minute Audra McDonald started talking I realized that her voice was very grating and I disliked it which took me out of the show. If you don't mind TELL DON'T SHOW you will love it. She is mostly standing there telling the story with this annoying voice. I was so bored. | |

| I didn't know what to expect going in, but just came from the theatre and thought it was a knockout. Audra McDonald is spellbinding and the play itself is compelling and beautifully written. Coupled with Top Dog Under Dog, this cements Kenny Leon as the director of the year. And the set is absolutely stunning. The audience couldn't have been more rapt and engaged,. | |
