The Happy Time, which I saw during its tryout in Los Angeles, had elaborate projections, as its protagonist was a photographer. The projections showed the photographs he was taking. It was the first time I had seen projections like these in a stage show, and I was very impressed. I’m guessing that they cost a bundle to create, though.
