I agree with everything you say. As to your question at the end, I think I would argue that when we stop to ask that question, we stand in the way of "bright, encouraging work." There are comparisons, obviously, to some of the plays we have seen in the last year or so (as to which people said Broadway was not ready), and there are also comparisons to George Wolfe's play of roughly 3 decades ago, but this catapults over all of them, in my opinion.
