| But it's not wrong. The musical itself DID win a Tony. For best musical. If they claimed it had won Tonys for acting, or directing...that would be disingenuous as this production doesn't have the same actor or director as the production that DID win Tonys for those things. Seems like a far cry from the creative (albeit underhanded) stunts that Merrick would pull to see his shows. |
