| I saw it Saturday. As with many plays composed principally of sketches, I found the results uneven. The scenes that work are pretty brilliant, though, and while some of the comedy seemed forced and strident to me, the most serious of the scenes, which played out in thoughtful, less-than-“anarchic speed,” was profoundly moving and insightful. I wish this production well. |
