| As a former member of the nominating committee, I can tell you the committee has no input regarding the nominations. We are presented with the list of eligible actors and their categories and vote on them. The producers have no say, as the nominations are based on billing. They can, however, make a case for an actor to be placed in a particular category. Whether or not the administration committee acts on that is up to the committee. (At least that’s how it was was when I was a nominated. It may have changed since then.) |
