Not quite sure how you came to that response for what I wrote... my post said nothing about wanting it to be some great masterwork of playwriting, or a nuanced drama or history play, nor did it say anything about how it should take itself more seriously... I asked that it amp up the humor even more, and find more ways to make comedy with the songs it chose.
For a theatrical funny good time, sure it is a must see. But I still found it over-hyped... you must admit (or maybe you won't give the level of hype you're offering), the show is VERY VERY hyped. |
