Listening to Dolores Gray singing "Everything's Coming Up Roses" and she sings "You'll be great, you'll be swell/Just you wait, I can tell" where I would expect to hear "You'll be swell, you'll be great/I can tell, just you wait".
Was this just a one-off lyric flub on the estimable Miss Gray's part or is there some precedent? (I would LOVE to have seen Dolores Gray as Rose!) |
