Watched it again tonight with my Mom (who had never seen any SWEENEY) after many years of not having seen this production ...OH what a bath of nostalgia for that era of artists in NY theatre...miss Sondheim's, & Prince's, presence in it so much. And oh, oh the playing of that album night & day when I first fell in love with the score 6 years after having seen Cariou & Lansbury in this for my 14th birthday!!! |
