| It is a legit question for an out of the blue post. I was surprised no one posted anything yesterday. I thought funny girl, lion king and some like it hot worked well. As for the lyrics, I knew it didn’t sound right but I couldn’t tell you what it is supposed to be (someone posted below). It’s hard to know all the lyrics for thousands of broadway tunes. | |

| For this year's annual NBC broadcast of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Lea Michelle (the new star of the Funny Girl revival, in case you didn't know) opened the proceedings with "Don't Rain On My Parade" (surprisingly enough lol). But in place of "Hey, Mr. Arnstein," (the lyric as written in the song, in case you've never heard it) she sang "Hey. Mr. Macy's." Not "Hey, Mr. Macy," but "Hey, Mr. Macy's." THAT lyric. :-) |
