1) Someone had to approve the change in advance since it was pre-recorded for lip-synching. I'm sure there were several possibilities considered.
2) Saying "Hey, Mr. Macy's" (as if she doesn't know there is a person named "Macy") is appropriate for Fanny Brice to sing. (She could have said, "Hey Mr. Automat" or "Mr. Barney's" in another context.) |
