So sorry to hear about her passing -- really talented performer! I recall reading that she was in the original Manhattan Theater Club cast of "Ain't Misbehavin' " but at some point she was replaced by Charlene Woodard after its initial run. I don't know why she didn't continue with the show. Her songs and filmed performances will "live forever", but she is gone much too soon at age 63. Rest in peace.
