The Hours at the MET

Anyone experience it? I saw the premiere concert version at the Philadelphia Academy Of Music, it was thrilling. I’d love to see this fully realized theatrical event, but doesn’t fit into my schedule. The short videos on the Met’s website are vocally and visually stunning. Looking forward to comments.

I'm going on the 7th. I listened top the premiere on Tuesday, but need to see it to give it some shape. It's been a long time since I read the book (and I've never seen the movie).

Apparently it was filmed so you should be able to see it at one of those venues where they show opera performances or filmed plays. It is being shown in south Florida soon.

"Filmed" wouldn't really be the right word - it's being shown in a live transmission in HD at movie theatres around the world on Dec. 10th. (THAT performance will be filmed, and shown most places as an encore the following Wednesday, and then presumably in the future on PBS and on the Met Opera On Demand website.)
