I enjoyed the show immensely but what does modern pop music have to do with Shakespeare anyway?
Interestingly we’ve had two fun musicals with Shakespeare as a character in a relatively short amount of time though the other had an original musical score.
And now I wish someone would revive Two Gentlemen of Verona which was done so well at the Delacorte with Oscar Isaac, Renee Elise Goldberry, Norm Lewis and Rosario Dawson. |
