| Saw it in Boston in its pre-Broadway run. I think everyone works very hard but not being a hard core Neil Diamond fan, I wasn't all that entertained. I thought it never rose above your average jukebox musical. And I don't particularly love sing alongs when I'm in the theater and every song is a sing along (not by design - the audience can't seem to help itself.) Honestly, it just wasn't my type of show. YMMV. | |

| I don't mind a clap-along for one song or so - Six does that, A Strange Loop does it with a wonderfully ironic twist. But for a good portion of a show? Ugh. The same for sing-alongs. One refrain of "No Time At All" or "Fat And Greasy" is fine. But that's it. :-) |
