| The play is an odd mixture of lecture and reenactments of events in life of the speaker who attended Ohio State in the 1950s. It deals with racial prejudice, murder and suicide, all hot button issues, but unfortunately the show fails at being dramatically involving. The main character tells us of key experiences that have helped shape her life, but the people she recalls are presented in cardboard fashion. Audra is the show and her performance is meticulous. Unfortunately, the play never really ignites. The high point for me was enjoying the glorious renovated and renamed James Earl Jones Theater. It’s stunning. | |

| It's part monologue, part play (with thankless supporting roles), but not entirely one or the other. And, at 75 minutes, overpriced. | |
