| I think the Times had Jesse's back just as the producers had their cast and creatives' backs. One interesting sidebar is that we have two major media moguls on opposite sides of the issue. I will say that, despite what was said, I feel pretty confident that Jesse (and perhaps especially his editor) will be more cautious with their word choices. Without debating the particular word choice here, I would think we can agree that a different word would not have altered the intention here. I can't imagine any person suggesting that he needed that word to make his point, or even that it added anything to that point. |
