I would imagine the price point will be quite high, because they'll only be able to sell the orchestra. If the show is using any part of the normal audience seating area, you won't really be able to see it from the second level, will you?
This feels to me like an acknowledgment that The Broadway has become a bit of an albatross, too large to accommodate most shows, and too hard to sell even for those. |
