| I feel many of the theatre going audience has no interest in seeing shows with ethnic minority casts. I know of people who are tired of seeing interracial couples on television series or commercials. The "marketplace" will determine if shows will continue a show's run. I don't depend on the NYT to determine which show I see...it's who is in the cast, who wrote the piece and what is the story line and, yes.....word of mouth from my large number theatre going friends. |
