Moving On

Something Dramedy said the KPOP is closing thread struck me - that he is "moving on" from his need to see everything.

I used to attempt (and was often successful) to see everything that opened on Broadway. This is no small feat being a West Coaster but I am blessed to have frequent work-related travel to NYC. Even the shows that were panned - I saw (and enjoyed many - I don't put a lot of stock in reviews and often actively avoid them if I already have tickets or know I will see a show). Not sure if its the sky-high ticket cost for a decent seat, the less-than-stellar audience behavior or the parade of mediocrity (with exceptions of course) the past few years have brought but I no longer need to be a completist. I am okay if I don't see it. No Broadway FOMO here.

Wondering if this is a trend with other rabid theatre-goers and perhaps contributing to a slump in sales for some shows.
