Here is one of the replies I posted to the piece itself:
By the way, complaints about Broadway musicals being amplified too loudly go back to at least as long ago as the 1950s. Complaints about poor quality of amplification were made about the original South Pacific. Complaints about amplification can even be found in the 1930s. Amplification on Broadway has been around longer than many people realize. |
