In 2021, I got four season subscriptions in the Bay Area, plus a fifth as a wedding gift. (Broadway SF, Berkeley Rep, San Francisco Playhouse, American Conservatory Theater, and Central Works). Having been without theater for a year and a half, I was desperate to see as much as possible.
We saw a lot of good local theater as a result, but I'll confess I was a little relieved when some of the seasons were over. It's nice to get back into "normal life", but I remembered that I do sometimes like a night in.
This season we're down to just Berkeley Rep and SF Playhouse, plus we added 42nd Street Moon. Which means we're still crazy people, just a little less so ;) |
