| That's the hope, but what evidence do we have? One of the core struggles that BIPOC people have in convincing white people of the realities of racism is the tendency for us as white folks to discount the racism they experience as outliers or not representative of the population at large. This is why so many BIPOC people ask us to listen to their experiences and to believe what they tell us. |
