| But the point of the question is that this outcome really didn’t need any crystal ball at all. If you’d asked 100 somewhat-knowledgeable people which of the two actresses was likelier to be successful in this role, probably 99 would have said Lea Michele. Precisely why the powers that be thought differently we’ll likely never know. |
