I am about to "move on" but I still have not. Currently, except for KPOP, I have seen everything. Plus three operas at the MET.
For me, the problem is that, unless I find a good deal or it is something that I really want to see, I do not think it is worth it anymore. I got to see "Ain't No Mo" last weekend because I got a good rush ticket for $42 at the Box Office. I paid full price for "Downstage" ($80???) because I find it reasonable. But I will not pay a $120 discounted price for SLIH.
And, financially, I am extremely lucky. But it comes to a point that the money is not worth it anymore.
PS. I always say that I will be more selective next year after I see how much I spend on theatre tickets, but, it is yet to happen. |
