Obviously, Sonia Friedman and her producers know the answer, but would they confess to making one of Broadway's biggest casting blunders?
If they had chosen Lea Michele in the first place, they also would've saved Beanie Feldstein from her ordeal, which wasn't fair to her either.
''Funny Girl'' is lucky it got a second chance with Lea, or else it'd have probably closed by now. But the audience wants what it wants. |
