| Right, I was assuming one-person shows operate differently—Elaine Stritch At Liberty, Sarah Jones' Bridge & Tunnel, Mike Birbiglia etc. But Hugh Jackman has had a listed cover for every play and musical appearance, even though (to my knowledge) he never used one until The Music Man, obviously under a very different set of circumstances. So I was wondering when producers decide to hire a cover, or if the decision is made for them. |
