| The off bway production was about 90% different. I think what we have learned is that, at least in NYC, there are not that many KPOP fans - or not fans that want to spend $150-200 for a ticket. The house was full last night - but much much much of it was paper. 'Fans' have had 8 weeks to show up - and they havent. Its not balance really - if it were a concert, then there would have to be only KPOP stars on stage. The book, what there is of it, is mediocre at the best, worse than that at many points. And most of the performers are let down when they have to speak. One can have fun at this show if one is pre disposed. But no sales are no sales. |
