I didn't see it on or off Broadway so I won't comment on the show itself. But I saw a clip (Insta? TickTok?) one of the performer/crew asking for "generous donors or angels" to save the show and to contact him via DM. My immediate reaction was "is this for real?" Because even if the run was extended, they won't change the plot/show and I doubt theatre fans/tourists will rush to see it, then the tickets are still not sold, they are willing to perform in an empty theatre? For their ego?
"But no sales are no sales." indeed. |
