Chava, I found him.
Will you be a lucky bride!
He's handsome, he's tall—
That is, from side to side.
I threw in girth in one of my earlier posts, in addition to height, but for me at least, the problem tends to be lack of leg room, although I'm sorry to say that my girth has increased more than I would like. (No more teenage 26-inch waist, alas.) But I think that isn't the problem for most people in most theatres, although having more side to side space is always nice. One time a man had his arm so far over into my seat that I jabbed him hard with my elbow. It was almost involuntary, he was driving me so crazy. And that was in the Minskoff, which seems to have wider seats than most Broadway theatres.
Fortunately, this caused him to move back within his seat confines and apologize. It could have caused a fight. I guess I was lucky it didn't. |
