You are correct. I have to confess, as I study grosses every week for business reasons, that I have not in many many years seen two shows (like KPOP and AINT NO MO) that have made it to Broadway and then had sales anywhere near this bad, week after week. It gets back to producing. When you take a show to Broadway (or anywhere) you need to know who your audience will be and know that they have the means and inclination to buy at least 75% of the seats in the theatre at full price , for month after month. In a crowded environment, these two shows have made a stir of any kind. OHIO STATE MURDERS has been lingering in the same box office no man's land. We'll see in the next two weeks if their reviews have any impact.
