I'm gay and am very respectful and tolerant of the gender choice of others. However, we live in a country (whether we like it or not) that is center, center right. That's not going to change.
It wouldn't surprise me that in the very near future we may well get a Republican President and Congress. If that happens, it will be codified into law that there are two genders, male and female -- and that's it. I think certain states like Texas and Florida are inching toward that direction already.
I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. |
