| Was anyone else startled or confused by what looked like Joyce DiDonato falling backwards in an early scene with Sean Panikkar's Leonard Wolff? I didn't notice that she broke the vocal line she was singing and she was up one her feet almost instantly so I wasn't even sure whether I had seen what I thought I'd seen. There didn't seem to be anything in the libretto that suggested a fall and nobody said anything in the interval interview with Christine Baranski (who I'm sure would be polite and not mention it herself). | |
