| It absolutely could’ve been written by Ashman. It’s spoken over music. Also- just because one person is credited as screenplay and one, lyrics, it doesn’t mean there wasn’t any crossover or overlap. In my experience in the business, who gets credit and who actually writes something is often not the same person. I can think of many examples of screenplays and TV scripts in which the person credited didn’t even write a single word of what they’re credited for. I would share specifics but I have to keep most of this to myself to protect people’s rep. |
