Much as also with movies, I think. Films are getting stellar reviews -- e.g. Spielberg's "West Side Story" and not "The Fableman's -- and tanking at the box office. A sea change may be in effect in both media. Ten years ago, reviews the likes of which greeted "Some Like It Hot" would have had lines at the box office and sellouts the order of the day. Something's afoot. I'll leave it to the social scientists and the economists and the historians to parse. The covid pandemic may have effected some sort of revolution.
