Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that you should NEVER get a TDF ticket where the face value is less than the TDF price. TDF is giving the production money in exchange for tickets that are at least a certain price point. If you get a low-ball ticket, it's a mistake and let TDF know.
I should note that there are TDF fees, and I think a production can legitimately provide a ticket that is below TDF+fee, even though the fee is unavoidable as far as I can tell. |
