I think there is a distnction though because this line goes by so quickly, and the Beggar Woman is not generally styled as beautiful, pale, or yellow-haired. Usually dirty, grungry, ratty dirty hair and/or some kind of hat element. It's funny, this didn't even cross my mind with Audra McDonald played the part.
On the other hand, references to Johanna's yellow hair are multitidue, including an entire song about it. |
