and I was taking it at face value!
I do think that sometimes we have to accept that not everyone is without grand delusions even if they are not mad per se. (And I also think it can be directed in that way to guide audiences there.)
I had a beloved aunt who made up "facts" about people in our family. (She liked to tell people her husband was 6 feet tall when 5'9 would be pushing it. It was all innocent but it cracked my mom up because, of course, we all knew better. |
