Plenty.
His live shows are tremendously successful musicals with huge followings and terrific sales--some have been converted into films with the songs cut. They appeal to their demographic as much as Hallmark Holliday Movies, only significantly more rooted in gospel and Christian iconography. The Broadway show Chicken and Biscuits captured some of this energy--imagine that but with all the leads given a gospel-infused song and a faith-inspired redemption arc.
For the curious, many are available on DVD--not as films, but as live captures. |
