I am not happy the show is closing. I liked it very much, so did my friends. And the cast is excellent. The show was selling out about 3/4 of the theater so this isn’t a box office disaster like KPOP or some of the plays currently running.
I won’t be surprised if Almost Famous does well on tour and possibly in Australia which may happen because of one of the producers.
I also wonder if another director will be chosen to give the show a sharper edge and perhaps add a killer rock number in act one.
I do wonder what will happen to Kimberly Akimbo and Some Like It Hot as A Beautiful Noise and &Juliet are stealing their thunder.
