| $2.50 total (yes, two dollars and fifty cents) on each ticket. That's it. Wish more ticketing operations could be this reasonable. |

| If you buy a Rush ticket, there is no Service Charge. Because the Met doesn't use Telecharge (owned by the Shuberts) or TicketMaster (owned by other greedy folk). They have their own in house system to serve patrons, not rip them off. If Broadway Producers controlled how tickets were sold, rather than the theatres, Telecharge and Ticketmaster would have virtually no Broadway shows. Their back end (that General Managers etc have to use) is out-dated (aby about 25 years) and makes everyone's jobs three times as hard as they should be in tracking sales. A true nightmare. trust me. | |

| I am not defending the ridiculous charges but this seems like an odd week to be extolling the virtues of the Met's system lol | |

| Possibly fans or allies of Anna Netrebko and Valery Gergiev and that faction are expressing via cyber their dislike of them now being persona non grata at the Met? They are very politically connected. | |

| Yep. But if you call that number you are told that they are not accepting phone calls because their network is down. Basically, once again they cant sell tickets. | |
