| $2.50 total (yes, two dollars and fifty cents) on each ticket. That's it. Wish more ticketing operations could be this reasonable. |

| If you buy a Rush ticket, there is no Service Charge. Because the Met doesn't use Telecharge (owned by the Shuberts) or TicketMaster (owned by other greedy folk). They have their own in house system to serve patrons, not rip them off. If Broadway Producers controlled how tickets were sold, rather than the theatres, Telecharge and Ticketmaster would have virtually no Broadway shows. Their back end (that General Managers etc have to use) is out-dated (aby about 25 years) and makes everyone's jobs three times as hard as they should be in tracking sales. A true nightmare. trust me. | |
