| The 'At Carnegie Hall' recording is, to my ears, one of the greatest live albums of all time. Liza was at the peak of her vocal power, the orchestral arrangements were the best of any of her live albums, the setlist was so thoughtfully chosen -- a mix of familiar standards with more obscure theatre song and the atmosphere just felt electric. It's such a shame a video recording wasn't made. So, for those of you who attended one of the concerts, was it as memorable an evening as it seems to have been from the recording? |
